PPCG developed a three year strategic plan in 2007, which is now due for renewal. The goals of this plan included:

  • To engage with each client in a non judgemental, supportive, empathetic way in order to ascertain the clients situation and to collaboratively explore creative and flexible options from which the client can chose a positive way forward.
  • To increase our capacity to advocate for change in social policy and respond to issues which effect vulnerable and marginalised residents.
  • Foster and develop opportunities for adult learning, skills development and social connection and participation in community life
  • To build strategic relationships, partnerships and collaborations with individuals and other organisations in order to enhance our capacity to provide services, influence policy and to ensure that all decisions are made on the basis of a solid understanding of the local community and service sector.
  • To build our organisational capacity to achieve financial independence and a quality work environment for our staff team, which enables provision of a safe, responsive service whilst retaining commitment to ethical practice.

Our new strategic plan will be launched at the 2011 Annual General Meeting. Over the next four months, PPCG will consult widely around our plan. We look forward to your feedback.
