The time has come for the second festival at the Alma Road Community House – after lots of positive feedback last year.

This year’s Park Party @ Te-Arai, at the Te-Arai Reserve, between the Te-Arai Court and 200 Alma road/The Alma Road Community House, will be happening this coming Sunday, 18th March, 3pm-7pm – so get your picnicbaskets ready, take your kids, friends and family along, and head down to the Te-Arai Reserve!

We’re inviting all East St Kilda residents to dust off their rugs, fill their hamper with gourmet treats and come and laze on the lawn listening to Sunday beats. Alternatively, a BBQ and salads available for a gold coin donation. A ’plant off’ in brand-new community gardens and best-dressed scarecrow competition are just some of the fun activities planned for the urban picnic - face off with our Chess Master, Michael Gluzman, throw down the bocce or team up for some backyard cricket. It’s a kiddie friendly event with a petting zoo and other children’s activities.

Come down, enjoy the sun (hopefully – fingers crossed) and meet your neighbours, or get involved in one of the local groups present.
