Alma Rd Community House looks onto beautiful Te Arai park. It is light and sunny and a great place to celebrate children’s parties, facilitate creative recreation groups or cultural celebrations.

Community Rooms in public housing estates are a great community resource. Whether you are a local resident or a service provider looking for a convenient, well-equipped, low-cost venue to host an activity, our TPCF team at St Kilda can support your ideas in one of 22 multi-purpose spaces. These community facilities are located in public housing properties, often on the ground floor where they can be easily accessed. Each has their own kitchen, toilets, basic furniture, and some have computers. In addition to providing the use of space, our community development workers can also support your ideas to develop a new activity or start a project through providing any necessary equipment or furniture, promotion and helping to source and apply for relevant funding grants.
Fees:
Free for public housing tenants, and activities accessible to public housing tenants
$15/hr for ongoing bookings for non-residents
$40/hr for private one-off casual bookings
